On Thursday night the Warriors traveled to Joe Montana Stadium to take on the Rams in a non-section matchup. This was the first meeting between the two schools since the 2013 season. 

The Rams got on the board first with a strike in the 9th minute by forward Kobe Norfleet. The Rams continued to control the game creating by creating chances with their possession thought the midfield.  The Rams doubled their lead in the 25th minute when Norfleet again found the back of the net off a through ball from the midfield. That's where the score line would stay until half time. The Warriors were out shot in the half 7-3 with out getting a shot on net.  Ben Durant finished the half with one save. 

The 2nd half saw a more back and forth game with both teams controlling the play at times. The Warriors created a great chance in the 52nd minute but the Rams keeper made a huge save to preserve the 2-1 lead. The lead was almost extended in the 62nd minute but Durant make 3 huge saves in a row to keep the score line where it was. The Rams keeper came up with another big save off a break away by Andrew Smith. The Warriors finally got on the board in the 66th minute off ball to the corner, Smith was able to track down the ball and find midfielder Ethan Bowser alone in front of net.  The Warriors continued to pressure the Rams backline but were unable to find the equalizer.

The Warriors 3-2 (3-0) return to section play 12:30 on Saturday vs Keystone Oaks at Dormont Stadium.
