Warriors Fall 4-1 to Ringgold

The varsity boys’ soccer team took on the Ringgold Rams on Thursday night, suffering a tough loss of 4-1 which brings their record to 3-2 (3-0). Throughout the first half, shots on goal were taken by Jacob Taylor, Ethan Bowser, Andrew Smith, and Donovan Woytsek. Multiple opposing shots on goal were saved by junior Austin Onofrey. As the game progressed more shots on goal were taken by senior Zack Snyder and sophomores Anthony Valerio and Max Salankiewicz. To finish out the game, junior Andrew Smith scored the lone goal of the game off of a free kick. Though the Warriors suffered a defeat, they fought hard for the entire game and worked together very well as a team. The boys’ next section matchup is against Keystone Oaks on Saturday.
